Ok here goes. I can tell that this thread will become my new hobby!

"Sorry I'm watching my weight - do you KNOW how many calories that wine/beer/whatever has?!" *insert horrified look*

"Actually I'm on a detox diet at the moment - you should really try it sometime"

"Sure - have you got any Cristal? That's all I drink these days"

"Just a lemonade for me - alchohol is against my religion"

"No, thanks - I've already puked 3 times tonight!" (slurring words, holding up 4 fingers!)

I had a big night last night and am hungover/have been vomitting all day.

Was told by my specialist that if I want my liver to recover then I have to give up alcohol.

i soooo had one of those on saturday. i swear my liver was actually aching on sunday my withdrawal bleed after stopping the bcp has finished so now i'm exciting about TTC officially & so i think it'll be easier to avoid those big nights now! (cept if it's expensive champers!)

I would buy the first round and order myself a tonic water and ask for a piece of lime in it - then tell people I was drinking gin and tonic. So, the next time it was due for a drink I'd say I'll just have a tonic water this time.

    when i knew i was actually pregnant - abour 4 - 5weeks with #1.
I had girlfriends fly up to stay with me and we lived in a party town (airlie beach) lol - and so we were out drinking every night over the weekend

What i did was order my own drinks from the bar (offer to pick their up) and got mocktails!! and they never knew till i told them at 18 weeks lol.
