I was on the pill for 13 years and then went off it in Jan 04. I didn't get a period until April (first cycle of clomid) and then I did another one and then decided not to continue with the clomid as I had to take provera as well.....I had 1 period on my own and then we feel pregnant in Sept 04 (around the same time as Angel!)

I really didn't like taking provera and clomid - but would do it again in a heart beat as I think that it really helped our chances of getting pregnant. What I found really distressing (and I hope that this hasn't happened to you) was that I wasn't getting a period at all so we didn't even have a chance I had given up by October - and by the time I found out I was already 5 weeks pregnant and had no idea!
