Hi sporty chick - metformin is used in PCOS women to regulate cycles and make sure we ovulate rather than having a non ovulating cycle. Sorry It doesnt induce bleed. Provera induces bleed. There are a few girls in the TTC with Clomid & Metformin who have taken this you can ask them what its like - I think Inspiration is one of them..I havent taken Provera but I can definately vouch for Meformin regulating my ovulation and cycle. The girls in the Clomid section are really helpful too.
