Clomid - side effects

My girlfriend has just started her first cycle on Clomid and is experiencing a few possible side effects and we're just after some advice/help.

Her major symptom is really itchy dry eyes that get really red and blood shot (possibly from rubbing them). Feels like she HAS to rub them all the time and her itchy skin that feels like it is crawling but only in certain spots on my face.

Thankfully she isn't experiencing any hot flushes or mood swings.

So has anyone had this side effect? Have you had itchy eyes? did you stop taking clomid? did you talk about your dr about it & what did they suggest? Also, did you have any long lasting effects?

I didn't have that side effect. It's probably worth talking to her Dr or even a pharmacist about it.

I had nausea, dizziness, fatigue and a constant headache as my s/e. For me, it lasted until about 6 weeks after my last pill (which is roughly how long the clomid stays in your system). I took clomid for 3 months in a row and the 2nd and 3rd month were each worse than the one before. If it had gotten any worse (ie if I'd taken it a 4th month and it had continued to get worse) I would have had to stop working due to the s/e.
