Clomid side effects

Those that are or have taken Clomid, if you got side effects did you get them straight away or did they come during second or subsequent cycles?

I had six cycles. The side effects got worse each cycle for me.

I had one cycle. Side effects included depression and suicide ideation. That cycle resulted in an ectopic pregnancy. I personally wouldnt use Clomid again

I'm the same as LB Clomid really screwed with me and I would not use it again. I barely recognised who I was when I was on it

I had only hot flashes the first cycle, second cycle I has that and then got AF on day 24 which was about 6 days early. Third cycle I didn't ovulate at all and I had a 45 day cycle!!!
It didn't work for me however, we subsequently found out ovulation was not our issue.

I only had one cycle.

I think my only symptom was really bad hot flushes.

But I got pg, so that worked out.

I had 2 cycles to conceive DD, had symptoms straight away; hot flushes, highly volatile, vivid dreams. After 14 mths of TTC i fell PG on second cycle of clomid. Didn't need it with this pg but def would have used it again if I needed to. Everyone reacts differently. There is a clomid thread under LTTTC. Have a flick through that.

Had 3 cycles

No side effects but first cycle regulated my period then sec cycle was longer and third time didnt work anymore

I had 4 cycles each increasing the dose each time and was totally miserable those 4 months. At 200mg I was off work for 3 of the 5 days I was taking them with out if control headaches and nausea. Clomid did not agree with me, nor did it make me ovulate.
