Question CM in early pregnancy and implantation bleed(TMI warning!)

    Hi Guys,

Im new to this whole having a baby thing so I need to ask a few questions.

I got a on wednesday (and they have continued...I keep checking..which is a little mental)

My AF is not due until over the weekend and I'm sooo worried something will go wrong!

Im still getting a few cramps (they kind of come and go) and I've got lots of (tmi) CM that is the consistency of hand cream, its white in colour and hand creamy (sorry...icky stuff).
Is this something I should be worried about? Am I gonna get AF??!!

Also, in relation to implantation bleeds...I'm getting but didnt have any bleeding or anything...is this likely to occur, or do BFPs only show up once implantation happens?

Im feeling all nervous and scared cause I don't want anything to go wrong!

thanks in advance for your info!!

    Hi baby wrangler

Dont feel silly for worrying! That is normal!! And it sounds like everything is going good for you. CM is sometimes a good sign i think. As for your implantation question, sorry i have no idea.
I hope it all goes well for you!Just out of curiosity Is your preg line dark or faint?

It was dark enough to see at arms length, but not darker than the control (the Confirm ones).
I did another brand one last night (looks the same as First Response test, but its a different brand), and last night it was almost the same as the control, this morning a little lighter than the control, but there is no question, they are definitely there.

    Hi Babywrangler,

    Congratulations on the BFP.

It is normal to have lots of creamy CM early in pregnancy. It does not mean AF is coming. Perfectly normal - nothing to worry about. Discharge can go a bit yellow or golden at around 6 weeks.
A crampy belly is also normal too.

Don't worry about having no bleeding - it is actually better not to have it - just gives you something else to worry about when UTD - believe me!

I think you have no CM before AF so I reckon it's a good sign, good luck.

Thank you so much for your replies...
I guess I'll feel better in about 6 weeks (?) (if I don't go insane) when I have my first Ultra Sound and see the little thing floating away in there....

By the way, when do you have your first one!?

Thanks for your replies, and sorry to be so annoying...I just have no idea what I'm doing

First ultrasound usually around 12 weeks if you want one. Otherwise 18 to 20 weeks.

Ultrasound at 6 weeks usually only if there are problems or you need reassurance because of past fertility problems.

    Yes, lots to learn.
