Flow for CD1 - sorry if TMI!

Sorry, I now this sort of thing has been posted in here before. I am trying to work out whether today or yesterday is CD1 for me.
2 days a go I had a bit of blood stained CM, then yesterday I started bleeding - red and fresh, not brown or dark old blood - around 11am (enough to require tampons) My flow is heavier today, with some lovely clots etc coming through - so clearly my AF is in full flight (Hooray)

So my question is (as I am on Clomid and need to work out when to start taking this cycle)...is today or yesterday day 1???

I would go with yesterday as day one. red blood, and before lunch. It has been a while for me, but I *think* at is what my FS said...
    Good luck!!!!!

    Thanks Rufalina.
Really appreciate your reply... I will take CD1 as the first day of bleeding.

when doing IVF i need to call my clinic on day 1 - they always say if it is fresh blood, red, before 6pm that day then that is counted as day1!

However to throw a spaner in the works my ap says day one is from any amount of spotting!

I do however go with the clinic!

Yes I always thought any spotting was day 1 but my doc has said it is 'full flow' so that's why I wonder if I can take it as full flow as the flow was definitely heavier the next day, plus flow only really started after 11am. BUT I think I had enough to call it decent flo.

I am going with the first day of red blood as CD1. Get to start my clomid the day after tomorrow. Yahoo
