Okay, so, I'm new to charting as some of you may have seen me around, and the ilk.... Also new to this cervical mucus stuff.
Never paid attention to it in my life until mid January this year, so I have a lot of questions that I don't seem to be finding answers for.
SO.... my usual cycle time is 40 days, the recent one was longer than that, as my menses came 14 days late. During January I was found to have a bacterial infection (gardnerella) and underwent a course of antibiotics, which was over before AF was due, and long before AF actually, finally arrived.
But AF was a completely different menses than the usual. Different colour, different type of flow, everything. The whole lot was different...
And so now that AF is gone, I'm back to daily checking cervical mucus .... and getting kind of confused... Immediately after menstration, what should CM be like? I thought immediately after menses it would be kind of dry?
Because I'm finding mine to be cloudy, white, with kind of jelly like chunks? I don't know what its about. I hope someone can help.
I DO have a doctors appointment, but in my town, getting in to see a doctor can take awhile, so my appointment is not until NEXT Tuesday, 10 days away from now, I'm having to wait, but in the meantime, if anyone can offer up any kind of advice, that would be MUCH appreciated!
AND, before anyone asks. There is no burning, or itching, or anything like that. I have no idea about smell, because (as odd as it sounds) I do not HAVE a sense of smell.... Yes, I know, its weird.
