    Possible Implantation Bleeding - TMI

Hiya Everyone, I need your advice. I am on cycle day 18 (of an approx 26day cycle). I believe I ovulated on day 12 (FF disagrees and says day 14) therefore by my estimation I am 6DPO.

So....I just went to the bathroom to do a #1 and then needed to do a #2 and when I wiped I noticed that there was red blood on my toilet paper. It is bright red but only when I wipe. I wiped a couple of times and it stopped. What to you think it is? Could it be implantation bleeding? I thought that implantation bleeding was supposed to be brown.

I'm perplexed as I have never had my period come this early. My shortest cycle was 22 days and that was just after I had my M/C late last year.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Hiya,

I posted this last night but haven't had a reply so I thought I'd bump it up. Hoping someone has something to suggest or add.

    Thanks.

I had an implantation bleed with one of my pgs. Are you temping? Sometimes you will see a dip and rise when you have implantation? Otherwise the only thing to do is wait - sucks I know

Thanks guys. I saw your post Squidpa and twice I started to type something and then I didn't becuase I wasn't confident with the possiblity of the double period so close together. I didn't think I could offer you a reasonable answer so I stopped typing. When will you test? In answer to your question I do get a little stressed but I've never had a period this short. (If thats what this is) Today the bleeding is brown with little brown flecks in it (sorry TMI). I'm really bummed out because we timed everything right this month and I was having tests done as well and the lady who did my ultrasound said there was an egg (18mm) on my right side and that was at day 10 and I felt myself ovulate on day 12 and....and....and....I know the only thing to do is wait and see.

Saram - I do chart and my temps are still up but this months chart is a weird one and doesn't really look like all my other charts so again I will just have to play the waiting game.

The worst bit is when I wasn't TTC it felt that periods just came and went but as soon as you do start TTC everything goes haywire!!!

Aussie, is there a pattern to this months chart? Can you post a link? I am no chart expert but through our time in the TTC 1-6 months thread I did pick up a few things.

I didn't experience an implantation bleed but I know of many who did so it is possible and not all experienced the obvious implantation dip.

I have my fingers firmly crossed for you

Yeah Aussie if you can post a link to your chart that would be good. I know just what you mean though about things going haywire when you chart - it's crazy isn't it

O.K. somehow I've managed to link my chart in my signature. I don't know how but there is also a comparison to last months cycle. This months chart doesn't not look like most other months. Most of my charts look like the one from March. Thanks for taking a look though girls.

Aussiegirl I would love to see what your temps to tomorrow cause that could def be an implant dip, have there been any disruptions to your temp taking or anything?

Aussie, it doesn't look too bad - I have included a link to my charts for you - not sure what will come up ie whether it will just be my last chart or if the two of them will be in there. As you can see my charts were all over the shop at times but the super chart analysers kept informing me it looked good for the month I did fall pg.

    tk1999's chart

I think yours could be an implantation bleed but it is hard to say at this stage - I agree with Saram it will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings - the white circle on CD17 - was that a late temp taken? What is the reason it was discarded?

Thanks for taking a look girls. TK1999 the circle is sleep deprivation. Not a late or early temp for the day. I won't give up hoping until the lady sings for me.

Satya if you are around I'd be interested to see what you think now that I've posted the chart as you are always good with chart interpretation.

    Hi Aussiegirl

I know exactly what you mean! I am sure my body did not play tricks on me before we were ttc.

I ovulated around day 17-19 - i think!!! (after OPK+ on day 17). Then 7 DPO I started spotting - usually in the morning. Always pink or red but not heavy. I am now 11 DPO and the spotting has continued. I really am at a loss!!! Lets hope we get some answers soon with a BFP and hope that this has been implantation bleeding!! x x x

Aussiegirl I believe implantation is often bright red. Have you had any more spotting?

I am the same as my periods and cycles have been totally predictable for all my life until we TTC. Our first month I spotted early and had never ever done that in my life. I also had very sore breasts. I believe I had an early m/c but the moral of the story is to trust your body you know when things are different. The second time this happened I was convinced I was pregnant but because I spotted and got heavier I never tested. I later founf out I was pregnant. Just trust your body it sounds pretty promising to me. Best of luck I hope you get your BFP.

Hi Everyone - Yes I'm still spotting. Not much and it's brown but it's still spotting. Today is 9DPO and I have sore boobs today. The only other time I had sore boobs was when I got my BFP last November but it ended in a M/C. I will test tomorrow because I have a 9am appointment with the specialist. I'm not giving up but if I do get a BFP in the morning I will be very anxious about it because of how it all ended last time. Will wait and see what happens I guess.
