Confused

Hello All,

I stumbled across this site a few weeks ago and have been hooked ever since.

I have been trying ttc for two years now aged 36 - was refered to IVF specialist some two months ago - have had Lap, D&C, Dye - discovered adhesions had fused on to all my bits.

Started 50mg clomid for 5 days- had a 21day Prog test. Have been told we will try this for two months then if no go - we go strait on to our first IVF procedure.

Its all so overwelming and l find myself so emotional about the prospect of things not going right.

What l really wanted to know, l was told that my 21 Prog test was very high and that there maybe a chance
l am pregnant - is this normal or have l been given false hopes.

I am not 100% sure but I think it may mean one of two things

1. It diffently means your ovulating and there for there may still be a chance for natural conception.

2. Or it might men that you levels are quite high and there may be a chance you are pregnant.

Hi, I look 50mg of Clomid about a few months ago and had a day 21 Progesterone test... they said to me if your progesterone is over a certain amount of points it means you have ovulated... you may have just been ovulating at the point they took the blood test? im sorry Im not sure if your projesterone stays high when you are pregnant.

yes - if you have hi progesterone at cd21 it mean that you could indeed be pg - your prog increseases during pg - lets hope that you are indedd pg - when is your AF due? my levels on clomid have been 43 (BFP) and 58 - so hope that its a good sign for you...

Thank you to everyone for all your advice - the dr has ordered a pregnancy test for tomorrow so fingers crossed it will be in the positive...

I do - however there all very similar to PMS - although my boobs feel like watermelons, my back is aching and l am having night sweats - and l feel sick - but l think that might be anxiety - The waiting is so hard - and this is our first month.....I hate to think how l will cope after several months of this routine... I havent been able to concentrate at work - l just want tomorrow to come. I did a HPT yesterday and it was negative, but I have been told they dont always show before your next period was due - l hope this is true as well.

Very true with the home preg tests how many days until you period is due? Some HPT don't show up positive until a week over due! Keep your spirits high the doc must be otherwise he would not have asked you to come in fo a preg test.

Hi I was just told that my 21 day progesterone taken at 22 days was 88 what does that mean? confused!!

Wow you maybe pregnant, my progesterone at 5 weeks pregnant was 91. Do you know what your progesterone was at the first blood test?

have you done a HPT?

Its the only blood test I have had this cycle. Im currently on my 26 day of a 35 day cycle now. Also today is my 37th birthday, I was going to use one of those pregnancy tests that can detect up to 10 days before your period is due. But I didnt want to depress myself today!!

blood test confirmed im pregnant 5 weeks and 1 day!! Have to see specialist tommorrow at the hospital. 26months ago had my 1st son and waited 11 years for that. I lost 2 along the way. Im getting all those familiar symptons again!! Im going to savour every day!!
