My period is due on July 6th.... I did a test on Saturday (afternoon) and it came up negative... fingers crossed I just tried to early!!!! Do you think I should do another test??
Probably the earliest you can test and maybe get a positive, is 5 days before AF due. That's when I found out this time and last time, and it was SOOO faint. I wouldn't have had a positive before that. Symptoms can start early and you may well have known early on (some people say they knew the NEXT day)!! I would think today is about the time you could try. Like someone else mentioned, it can get very expensive buying all those tests!!!

Well, so far this month I have tried 3 tests and all I have got are big fat NEGATIVES ... I am terrible at suprises and I know so many of you have said to wait before my period is due before testing, but I just couldn't help myself!
Do you think these results are 100% accurate if you test pre-period??? My period is not actually due for another 2-3 days... I am feeling so so so emotional (much more than usual - but this could be because I think we have failed this month!!), my breasts are tender and massive and I just want to curl up into a ball and sulk..... (Why do PMS symptoms have to be so similar to pregnancy symptoms????).... Every new thing that happens I google to see if it is a symptom: so far I have checked: blood nose, stye on eye, blemishes on back..... My DH thinks I am crazy!!! He is probably right!
Apologies if I have rambled and don't make sense, but I am just so so FRUSTRATED!!
