confused with cycle! help!

Hi ladies, need some advice here.

this month is my first month off clomid after being on it for 2 cycles. On the two cycles I ovulated cd18 and cd19.

yesterday was the first time in over a year I saw ewcm but im only on cd14! Ff also showed a dip in temp but my clearblue fertility monitor and maybe baby did not show that I was ovulating.

so im confused! I havent been charting all my temps coz tbh I was sick of doing it but somehow I decided to yesterday lol.

so now I gotta wait for at least 3 temp rises to pinpoint if I really did o on cd14. We dtd last night so im hoping I did.

anyway question is, will there be another reason for ewcm other than ovulation and does it occur on the day of ovulation or just before?

Hi Mum2OneSweetBun - EWCM is usually linked to an estrogen surge, which can happen in both the lead-up to (most often the case) and after O (only sometimes, not all the time). I've had EWCM a few days afterwards which apparently was a second surge, but not straight away - usually 'dry up' just after O.

I think coming off Clomid might mess with your cycle a bit so it is possible you'd be O'ing earlier. Maybe keep up the BD every second day for a little longer just in case...?

Hey M2OSB, how exciting to get EWCM! I never have that! I am actually thinking of trying a natural cycle next cycle, but i guess I'm just scared i wont ovulate on my own. Your cycles were the same as mine before clomid so i will be stalking to see if this natural cycle worked for you regarding ovulation Sorry i can't answer your question, I'm just as clueless as you when it comes to EWCM, Good luck!

Yes i was so excited to see that too! but nothing else indicates that im ovulating! ie no OPKs!

I was scared of that too Tasha, i was thinking if i made a mistake for not going on clomid this month =( I am still doubting that!
