Could this be a false positive??

This morning i did a pregnancy test and it came up with a faint positive result. We have been trying for a couple of months so it is possible i could be pregnant. My question is we had intercourse last night if i still had sperm inside me could this give me a false positive on the pregnancy test. I don't know if it is possible or not, I will do another one in a couple of days but was just curious please help me stop wondering thanx.x

Sounds like it is genuine - Congrats!!!

DTD would not have caused you to produce hCG, which is what the HPT detects, pregnancy is the only thing that causes it.
