    crazy cycle

ok so i came off the pill last january and since then i have had 12 cycles.
first up it was 5 months before af.. then it came down to about 30-35 days after a couple.
i had a 43 day cycle last month and then i just got af again at 17 days. WTF!!! its also not normal af. TMI warning...

first day enough to use tampons. second day not much, third day nothing, fourth day not much, today enough again for a tampon.

I just don't understand what has changed in the last few months to stuff my cycles up like this. how the hell am i supposed to get utd if my body can't decide what its even doing.

    any help would be great.

Hey! Sorry to hear that your having a rough time! I know that sometimes it does take a while for your period/cycle to regulate but that seems like a while! Have you seen a doctor about it? The regularity of your period is important but more important is whether you are ovulating or not; have you been charting your cycle? In saying that you can ovulate but it not be fertile. If you haven't been charting then you prob need to start with charting your cervical mucus (every day have a look at your cm and chart down the consistancey and texture) when it is very stringy and you can stretch it between your thumb and fore finger that should be your most fertile period, also you can take your temp every day (it is very important to take your temp before you get out of bed in the morning) your temp should rise around ovulation and stay eleveted. You can also buy ovulation predictor test strips from the Internet, they are similar to HPT's but they measure the level of LH in your urine, if you have a very irregular cycle I would suggest to start testing at 6DPO and test until you get a positive result. A positive result will indicate that you will be ovulating in the next 12- 24hrs or there abouts. I personally use the predictor test strips and find them very helpful as I have stringy cervical mucus for about 5 days so eveyone is different! If you already know all this sorry to ramble!!! Good luck babe!!! Xx
