Which Date to use?

My LMP was 4th June.

I am normally 28 day cycles, but my LMP was 5 days late as a result of an early loss.

So I started off this TTC cycle as if it was 28 days, so:

LMP 4th so O day would be the 18th - so implantation 25th approx and pos test 30th.

Then I thought maybe I should have calculated as if my cycle was 33 days as was the last so:

LMP 4th so O day 23rd - Impl 30th and post test 5th..

we DTD the for senarios... so pleanty of chances to catch the egg I hope!

So my question is when should I test???

I know im a bit crazy huh...

I would test on the 30th - hopefully your cycle has gone back to 28 days after your loss - sorry to hear about your loss too *hugs* and GL with POAS on the 30th !!!

If your cycles went back to 28 days after DD, I'd assume they'd go back to 28 days this time, but you never really know.
I guess test when you would've tested with a 28 day cycle, as it wouldn't be really early.
Then if bfn I guess wait a few days to see what happens?

I'm a serial tester so I'd probably start testing from the 28th- 10 days after the first possible O date! Or maybe even the 27th... 26th?

Thanks ladies! I will test on the 30th ( if I can hold out that long!!) and go from there... It's such a looooong way away!! I hate the 2ww!!

You know your cycle is usually 28 days however what you haven't told us is the length of your luteal phase (from O to AF). This is the only constant in your cycle... your follicular phase (from AF to O) can vary from cycle to cycle, but your LP usually stays the same (however this isn't true if you actually conceive and lose bub soon after conception (((hugs))) ).

For example, my cycle can vary from 26 to 30 days, this means my O day falls anywhere from CD 14-18 and my LP will always be 12 days, with my period arriving 13 DPO.

To get an accurate test result you would test at the end of your LP (for me 13 DPO).

Ahhhh Tanya! I get it!! I'm pretty sure my LP is always 14 days.. I generally always get AF 2 weeks after I O..
