I started acupuncture (ap) and traditional chinese medicine (tcm) after not having AF for 10 months, and prior to that, had 50+ day cycles. I went religiously each week, and took all my yucky herbs daily, and got my BFP on just my second cycle! During this time, I was also walking about 6km a day, and eating a low GI diet in an effort to kick start my body.
I cannot praise AP or TCM enough, I think herbs and natural remedies are very powerful. I highly recommend you give it a go if it is something you are open to.

Getting your tubes cleared (cant remember the name of the procedure, but they put dye into your uterus and wait for it to go through your fallopian tubes - it gives them a good clean out or shows if there is any blockage causing infertility).
Many people concieve within a month or two of having that done, I did
I got a referal from my GP for private treatment. It cost about $300.

The month that we started using pre seed is the month that we got luck. We lost a bub the month before that but got a sticky one the month after with Pre seed.
Will use it again when we start TTC next year.

I also used traditional chinese medicine, I have PCOS and I went to a well recommended chinese herbal gynae in Melbourne. Let me know if you want his details.
I took the herbs for about seven months and fell pregnant. I wasn't expecting it to work but I was amazed at what came out of my body as I went through his treatment. Black sticky stuff like tar (sorry if TMI), when I told him about it he said "that's what is stopping you from getting pregnant" and true enough the next month I conceived. Great pregnancy until the end when I got high blood pressure.
I would recommend chinese herbal medicine to anyone!!!!! But be warned, herbs smell bad as you cook them up and taste pretty feral but in the end I was almost craving the taste of them, very weird.

I'm drinking my chinese tea as I type. I've been going to Chinese Herbalist for just over a month now and have had two AP sessions. No BFP (yet), however I'm feeling much healthier esp when AF arrives.
I just need to focus on food and exercise and I'm sure I'll feel even better.
I've also purchased Pre-Seed, tho I started taking Evening Primrose Oil at the start of this cycle and I didn't need any Pre-Seed, EPO took care of that.

Oh, how exciting!! This gives me great hope. We conceived last month also, but unfortunately lost our beloved Fuzzy not very long after...

yes - hsg ...forgot what it was called, but anyway I concieved that month /cycle I had it done too. If it takes a while to concieve number 3, I will be trying that option again.

We did the acupuncture. We took all the Chinese herbs, I still do and still have the acupuncture it was so good.
We were trying and trying and trying over the 8 months (we aren't kids anymore so for us this IS a long time). Ovulaintg not ovulating timing etc etc.
We set up for assisted conception, my partner had had her tubal patency test. susequently we were to start injections two days after collecting them, so instead of her perod, two stripes!!
So out 20 week little man survived a tubal patentcy test (the clean out listed above)
the biggest thing to learn then. Stop trying and just have sex. We were so caught up in the process and the outcome I'm sure it worked against us. the moment we relaxed and just did what came naturally it worked.
I went through the Ruth Sharkeys Healing Centre in Qld and they mailed to my home in Ballarat my herbal formula that i took twice a day & a consultation letter (i could ring the centre if need be). My cycle had been 31 days for a decade ... they said they could get it to 28 days ... and after 4mths of taking the herbal formula my cycle was every 28days for 4mths ... YEP an absolute MIRACLE... So, 8mths after taking the Herbal Formula i was pregnant at 39.5years of age (we had been trying for 2years before we started taking this herbal formula) ... My DD is loving known as the " Herbal Baby "
(Also during that time i took Folate, and Fish Oil Capsules and cut out caffeine ... and managed to de-stress, moving to the country helped too !!!)

Clomid will increase your progesterone
Serum progesterone level and if it is only a slght increase your doctor may prescribe prometrium (progesteroneProgesterone
Serum progesterone) as well. I used pre-seed while on 100mg of Clomid and I loved it. I used it on my fertile days only and I got pregnant.
ask your OBGYN about clomid!

Hi,
I've just started acupuncture this cycle. I've also quit smoking, changed to de-caff coffee, eating salad for lunch and veg for dinner every day and doing about 30mins exercise 4-5 times a week. My acupuncture guy told me that even having 1 cup of coffee a day can half your fertility!?!?! I freaked out at this coz I thought I was good cutting down from 6 to 3 cups a day!!! Will see how we go this month!
