Question Do you think its wise?

    Hi all,
DH and i are thinking of TTC #4. We would really love a daughter, as we have 3 sons, but i wouldnt mind if we had another boy. (Honestly aslong as the babe is h&h thats the main thing).
so in order for us to do that we have to do alot of upgrading, car, house, bank accounts... DH will have to keep looking for work as he got laid off last month.
should we start next year? I think next year is good, if we start in Jan, that way our youngest will be 18 months....
    BUT.. Im clucky NOW!! HELP

Thats a hard one scorpio- only you guys really know the limits and boundaries of your finincial situation. But consider this- first you have to conceive (hardest part), then you get to carry for 9 months- which wont cost you much save for the extra food you may be eating!! Alot can happen in 9 months!! And then if you breastfeed exclusively for 6 months the bub will cost next to nothing (you already have clothes and baby gear from previous bubs). Although the other items (bigger car, house etc) are considerable!!
If you wait until next year at least your DH will have the rest of the year to find a good job and get into a stable financial situation.
Personally, I think that summer is the best time to conceive- so you don't feel like a massive swollen whale in the hot summer months, and as the weather gradually gets colder, you gain more padding. Then you can pop the baby out in spring (like the animals do- lol) when it is neither too hot or cold, and you have a couple of months up your sleeve to slim down in time for the stinkin hot summer again. Perfect!! At least that was my aim for THIS year- not sure if it has worked yet......

We were in a similar situation as you Scorpiomum, but DH is employed.
We decided to go for it. I'm not getting any younger (33) and I have already had 2 losses... Because of my risk factor for fetal abnormalities, I don't want to risk any babies after 35. We need a bigger house, and we need a bigger car. I am only 10 weeks pregnant with what we're hoping will be our #4 earth baby... so we have at least 30 weeks to arrange those things... because we're renting it makes it a little easier, and we have 2 cars, so our worst case scenario would be using 2 cars for a little while.
Ultimately, we wanted a baby more than anything, and that is what we chose for our family.
I hope you can find what is right for your family too so that everyone is happy
BOL and loads of success for when you do start TTC
