Does anyone know the cost of Vasectomy Reversal in QLD?

Hi lovelies, its been a while since i last posted on BB.
Would anyone happen to know how much a vasectomy reversal will cost in QLD? Or if it is free through the public system up here?
Hubby originally had his vasectomy in 2012 back in Victoria and it was free under the public system but he never asked about a reversal or the costs involved. We moved up here to QLD in late 2013, and hubby has agreed to talk about getting a reversal and trying for a 4th bub in 2017 but we would like to get an idea of the possible costs involved now so we can save up for it.

A friend of mines had his reversed in NSW so probably not much help. It was around the $5000 in 2013. The biggest cost was the private hospital fee's and the anaethetist cost. The surgeon was the cheaper of the costs. It was successful and they recently had their 4th baby.
