Does illness delay AF???

I've heard that an illness (flu etc) can delay O, but what about AF?

I started getting sick at 6DPO. I am now 10DPO and still a few days away from testing, but I don't feel AF coming at all???

I know I should just wait until she's due, but all you TTC ladies know what I'm going through

I also know that I could test and a true result COULD show now, but if it's a BFN then I know I will be heartbroken, then I will have hope that I was too early and will test again. If that test is a BFN aswell and AF is overdue, then I will be a wreck lol, only to find out it was probably because I got sick.

So if anyone has any answers for me, I would love to hear them so that I don't stress over it all.

Yes illness can.
When I had septacemia AF dissoed for 2 cycles.

It's an infection in the blood stream.

I don't think the flu would make AF go though.
But I guess it depends on how bad it is.
