Expired HPT???

Hi Guys,

AF was due on thursday but I got AF cramps but no AF. Same for Fri, Sat and now today. I also on Sat had a little EWCM by the looks of it and I thought 'hello...what's going on here??'

So anyways, I woke up this morning at about 4am and couldn't go back to sleep so I got up and did a POAS which happened to be expired by about 6 months (only one in the house so I thought - why not?). Within no time I saw a faint second line come up which did continue to get darker. You can definitely see it at arms length.

I am now freaking out!!! lol

What's the chances of this test truely being positive? I know that I will have to test again (but will wait till tomorrow). Has this ever happened to anyone else or am I the only stupid one to use an expuired test??

I would think that even after 6 months out of date it would still give you a resonablly accurate reading. It would still be a good idea to test again

Well guys..

I got up and went to do my another HPT only to find that my wee was too scared to come out...(probably cause I already knew how this was going to end)..

So I tested and within about 1 1/2 minutes I could see the second line. By the end of the 5 minutes it was darker than the control.

WHOO HOO!!!

I don't know what to do with myself now. DH is going to freak when I tell him (only as this is definitely a surprise).

WOW - that is all I can say!!

Off to the Drs this afternoon for a BT. Yikes!
