    Fertile with AF?

I have a co-worker who had unprotected sex with her ex 2 days ago. She is freaking out that she may become pregnant, but I told her that the chances of her falling pregnant whilst AF is in town were very slim. She is still worried so I told her I'd ask around (just in case). She has a regular 28 day cycle and no problems.

So, I can tell her she will be fine?

Something like 95% of pregnancies are from DTD in the 3 days prior to, and the day of, Ovulation. Your friend should be fine. If she is pregnant she should also go out and buy a lotto ticket.

If she is pregnant, let me know. Maybe I am doing it wrong

I am OK... justifiably nervous / anxious... waiting for results of a second BT today so I can see if the early beta's are doubling . I hope the HSG is kind to you .

One of my DDs baby buddies was conceived on the first day of the mum's AF.
It's the only one I have heard of, however.

It really all depends on when you ovulate, or in this case when she ovulates. Since sperm has been known to survive up to 5 days internally (2-3 is the more common life span) if she ovulates really early or really late in her cycle it's possible.
Most women ovulate 14 days before their period though, so like others have said, not really likely.

Granted if DH makes his move a few days before my evil AF is due, she invariably shows up a few days early sending my averages out of whack.

This might be an opportunity to remind her that unprotected activities in this day and age aren't really the safest. Who knows who ex has been doing while they were broken up if you get my drift
