(Warning: Graphic Info/TMI) My wife just finished what we assume is her second fertile cycle since its return after our last child. I felt real good with the expected dates going into this month. She started menstruation one day earlier than originally projected.
Calender indicated she would possibly be fertile starting on the 6th of this month with ovulation on the 10th. She showed no indicators on the 6th, but was milky/creamy on the 7th & 8th, and more egg white & stretch on the 9th & 10th with the 10th being full on stretchy. The 11th was more like milky/creamy with little stretch. Until today...
Today she has been gushing pretty stretchy CM like substance. She has also had what feels lime cramps off and on which seems to push more CM out. We did not BD any where near her fertile window this month as we wanted to start trying in July. We have not BD yet sense she stopped showing fertile indicators as well.
We are both at a loss, any one else want to venture a guess as to whats going on inside DW's body? If we BD tonight, any reason to expect conception you think?
I would be cautious jic. My cycle was a bit odd like that too, but the stitch like pain and lots of cm would to me indicate ovulation. I got varying cm around ovulation but the day I had the heaviest discharge was the day I I'd. Good luck in July!
Thanks! I will say DW is not feeling her usual ovary pain but actual cramping feeling. But she felt nothing on the 10th although she typically only feels if released on one side.
Is it possible (remote) that she could have released from one ovary on the 10th & four days later released from other ovary?
The other odd thing is that her cervix is low, not high like it normally is during ovulation. This whole thing is intriguingly weird.
It a highly unlikely to O twice from different ovaries unless you are doing IVF or the likes. I read this somewhere, from a reputable source. If you don't want to fall pg this month then i wouldn't be DTD for a few more days, sounds like she is highly fertile right now
I agree, highly unlikely & we are not having IVF treatments. Also agree CM indicates fertility. Guess we will be discussing in a bit if we will move up our TTC timeline. Only down side is we wanted to try for girl so would like to BD early in fertile phase. Oh well.
Well, we decided we didn't care, we were going to enjoy our selves. Neither of us believed she was actually fertile. All the previous signs indicated she was previously fertile and she didn't have all the fertile sings this time. Plus, if we were wrong that was ok because we were going to try first part of July any how.
And so, we had one heck of a good time... And then AF didn't show up on time. Actually, she never showed up Current expectation is March 2013
