First time TTC

Helly Marydean! Yes we have been pretty busy chatting away. Its been good - made the day go quickier!

I was on a fairly strong pill. I think it might have been the 2nd strongest on the market. I wasnt on such a strong one but dr put me on it a few years ago because I was bleeding in between periods while on the weaker pill!

Well I am actually having a bit of moodiness.. Nothing too bad I dont think. Its mainly at work tho! Just one examply was I was really angry because everyone was bugging me and all I wanted to do was read stuff on here! Next minute I was reall excited. But nothing too bad. Oh no, I had a real bad night a few weeks back before the last visit of AF where I had a go at DP, he had to go out and told me to 'build a bridge and get over it' :eek: I got REAL angry and told him not to come back cause I aint getting over it!! He came back tho.. I think that is the only major moodiness that I have had.

Well Ladies, I am outta here for the week. Looking forward to this weekend! Going to be nice and sunny over here so I am going to try and get to the beach and do lots and lots of BD. Going to be fun

That night a few weeks back does sound a bit like the sort of thing I'm dreading...! It's been such a long time since I've been truly crabby on a monthly basis (I just did the maths...8 years on the pill:eek: ) so I'm kind of worried, not for me, for him.

It's so hard the angry PMT. I came off the pill because i was horrible DP was about to leave me. The Dr decided to take off and see what happened thought it might have been depression as i was down more then would get really angry over nothing. It worked almost straight away felt so much better but can still have angry outburst throughout my cycle but i think unfortunately thats just me my dad is a bit the same when tired and been really busy and stressed everyone else cops it.

Goodluck Marydean and hope the monster doesn't return but if you explain to DH how you are trying to afford it and that you would also not want it to return i'm sure will understand my Dp with time and he would just tell me when i was horrible.

Have great weekend Ngala, weather **** here meant to be 20 :( but catching up with some of my best mates so looking forward to that. PLus should be seeing my niece Poppy who i love dearly.
So funny just wanting Neighbours while doing this and they are talking about where the Timmins live and that is actually my home town and we are nothing like that family well some are but most arn't. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hi Jane, I know what you mean about the angry PMT, I was on the wrong pill for about 2.5 years once and I just thought I was going loopier and loopier and one day I woke up feeling irritated and looked at my packet and went, "I just turned the corner and took a pink one" and the penny dropped. Now WHY didn't every doc I saw throughout that time ever twig?? So I told my doc and changed pills and suddenly felt like a whole new person. Sad, isn't it?

Pity about the **** weather, we're going to the coast this w/e which will be great (seeing all those green gardens and might get to paddle in the sea, def'ly catching up with good friends). Can't wait!

BTW Jane, I love it when you see a place you know really well on the telly, it's quite exciting. Also am reading a book right now about the seedy underbelly of my home town, it's very entertaining!!

Marydean - my DH rolls his eyes when I'm suddenly quiet (i am hardly ever quiet!!) and have 'serious face' on and am quick to get irritated and/or I'm walking around looking angry (apparently) saying, "I just feel irritated and don't know what's wrong with me!!"...then a day or so later AF shows up with luggage......and DH says, "Oh! It all makes sense now!!" LOL!!

He is funny too, I can say how irritated I feel and don't know why and he says, "Well remember, it could be your hormones sweety..." Bless his cotton socks!! My DH using PMT as an excuse for my behaviour before I have a chance!! What a kak!!!

And BTW Marydean...what's with the aging body stuff you sausage!!! You're still a spring chook!!! (you have posted your age before so I do know how old you are!!) Now if you were 70 say and TTC...well there's a whole other kettle of fish there then isn't there??!! ROFL!!!

To all girls - have a fab w/e BD (for those in that zone) - hope to begin my w/e on the right foot....well flat on my back iykwim?? :cryinglaugh:

You're so sweet to tell me how young I am still - And yes I'm still pretty springy if not chooky (!) I'm just having the middle age crisis you have when you're not having the middle age crisis and it all started earlier in the year when I was teasing my friend about being half way to 70!. Didn't take long for that karma to catch up with me!

Troooly tho, I'm a bit nervy about being *the age* after which your fert supposedly starts to decline. And all these young Gen Ys having babies and it feels like I was only doing it a moment ago but it's been, like a DECADE since I was the same age as y'all!!! Well I'd better compensate by going off an having a fabulous weekend! You too, I hope!

Just had a thought Marydean when I saw your TTC#2......I figure when you realise you're fantastic at something (ie making beautiful babies & being a fab mummy!!), you shouldn't waste your gift!! :)

SIL only 2yrs younger popped out #2 this year and friend that I know popped out #3 at the age of 39!!!!

Yes, scientifically we can be told fertility levels decrease at certain ages....but like I said, when you're on to a good thing I say we give it a crack to defy science every now and then!! LOL!!!!

Plus, you're only as old as you feel so maybe go buy some paints and playdoh and make a right mess this w/e with your precious family!! LOL!!!!
Then go show your DP how hot a fox you are and BD like crazy - but not necessarily TTC - just to prove to you and DP that you are STILL a yummy mummy!!! :p

Marydean - I havent had an 'episode' again since that night a few weeks back. I never really was that moody, the only moodiness I get now is at work whenever gets me angry. Luckily for DP he doesnt see me too angry to often! You should be alright, just take it one step at a time, maybe try not to think that you are going to turn in to a monster again and maybe you wont!

Janeo - You got your chart up! Cool stuff. I will be checking in on that and comparing it to mine. I went out today and bought an ovulation thermometer that goes to 2 decimals places because my temp is steady and I wanna see the small changes.

Charlyfrog - you crack me up!! Have fun BD.. how far away are you from O??

I Did my usual thing last night - came home from the gym and tried logging on here but my internet wasnt working! I tried for hours and hours to get it working but it didnt - was having major withdrawals! :eek: But luckily everything was working fine this morning and I'm alright :D

Hey Ngala - wondered where you were!! LOL!!! Not doing any OPK's or temping so can't say exactly but I think I O'd a couple of days ago (EWCM thing - TMI?? LOL!!) so have been BD like crazy......did start my w/e on the right foot....ROFL!!!!
My past 2 cycles have been 32 days so that puts me in the TWW wait I think as CD is due Oct 14 or 15... so :pray: this might be my month!!! And showering you with :bluedust: !! Lets get that bubba cooking!! LOL!!! Just kidding hun!!

Ohh Well good luck Charlyfrog! I hope that this IS your month, I hope this is all of ours month! Well I guess you are half way through your cycle so hopefully you have been BD'ing at the right time.

I think I am 4 days away from my O!!! JEEEEEEZ Better get started!! I havent had an CM yeh that points towards coming to O tho. Dont know whether to BD every day or every 2nd day? If its every day, then got 4 more sessions or if I choose every 2nd day then I only got 2 more sessions! But knowing DP he will want every day.

LOL I have NEVER paid so much attention to my body before!

Enough to drive a girl batty sometimes!! LOL!!!

Productive weekend?? Well yes it is and no its not! LOL its productive for things that arent about BD!! DP was tired last night and went to be at 8.30pm! The old grandpa :p He then got up early this morning cause he went to bed early. Hopefully I'll be able to catch him tonight!

Hi girls hope you had a good weekend BD. I did i OPK friday night cos i thought i had O pains but had very faint line so BFN. Will do another tonight just incase but got my parents staying the night so i'm hoping that its negative too so we don't have to have it quite LOL. Well got to go get tea so catch you all tomorrow...

Anyway i have been dreaming about baby girls and i have just found out that my SIL is due in May and so is DP cousin and wife due a week later... So i'm hoping its for me and i bit it's just my mind playing about there Pg. Oh well better go and do my OPK just in case plus i have to fix my chart stuffed up the CM not really with it today had to many drinks yesterday i know naughty girl but better enjoy it while i can LOL.... Good TNTC or TTC and the BD ill be joining you Ngala in BD all week Dp is on lates so starts at 1pm and finshes by ( so can gp morning or night usually we are in bed at different times....

Hey Keen - yeh it seems like that doesnt it! I see that you have been TTC since '01 I wish you luck with getting pg! I hope you get your BFP soon too!

Charlyfrog - I had a dream that I was pg!! I think that AF came, which was really light and then I tested and I got a BFP!! I really wish that that was true :)

Jane73 - I did a lil reading in the FAQ and private messaging is only for registered members, so I guess that platinum members etc. I think I am going to be a platinum member soon..

Ngala... yeah i wondered about that but when I read the the questions it made it sound like you just had to be registered as in free registration so im not sure.

I have dreamed my close friend was pregnant both times before she told me (i had mentioned it to her about a month ago and she told me last week she was 6wk pg) I think im freaking her out a bit especially as it happened with her first child too =)
So watch out if i start dreaming of any of you =)
OH its 6.30am and i have been up for ages with DS who thinks as soon as the sun comes up its Bix time (weetbix) He is lying here watching a movie.. wonder if i could sneek back to bed for a bit of BD ?? heheheh UNLIKELY !!!!

Jane- I dream about babies each time my friends have told me they are Pg i actually said to a friend you are pg a can feel and i was dreaming about it not so much her holding a baby but just the presence of another baby in our group of friends and i knew they were TTC.

Ngala- my temp dropped this morning too 35.7 yesterday i did my temp at midnight sat/sun night morning cos i knew i would sleep through 9 had a few drinks and it was 36.2 and when i did it at lunch sunday it was stil 36.2 so i'm so excited you are the same i'm finally getting the swing of things YEH.... I did a OPK last night again only faint line so i will do another tonight just incase my friend gave me a pack cos she is about to pop a week over due waiting for the phone call.... SO i don't care how many i have to do to get a positive. I was also talking to a girlfriends sister and they tried for 6 months first time she used OPK they fell pg with Spence now 6 months..

janeo - thats huge drop you got! What time are you doing your temps? I've been told it is best to do it at the same time each day. But I guess you are using OPK's so you should know when you ovulate. Will probably be soon hey! Mine is soon - I told DP that my temp dropped so I am about to ovulate soon... and I guess you could say he wasnt over the moon about it! HAHA thats men for ya! I know he will be over the moon when I do become pg!

Well cos i was on holidays last week and got to sleep in i was doing them at 9 am but back at work today and alarm went off at 7.30am so had to change so hopefully it still works it's probably good that i don't just temp as i started temping after my af had finished as i didn't find the site until after so doing OPK just incase. Fertility friend says that i havn't ovulated this month don't know that my temp could tell them that especially as Sunday and today were done at different times to the days earlier but oh well will wait and see.... I don't have messanger have a hotmail address instead. if thats what you mean!. Well good luck Bd and Oing...

Janeo - I started temp at the start of AF and took it at 7am but wasnt really asleep before that as I am used to waking at 5.30. SO I now take my temp at 5.30 during the week and I set up alarm for 5.30 on the weekends, alarm goes off, thermometer goes in and once its done I go back to sleep again! It works out alright and DP doesnt think I am TOO crazy!

Well you are only on cycle day 10 so its possible that you havent ovulated yet. I think you are meant to have a drop and then I rise over three days and that means you have ovulated - I think! So I'd say ovulation is still coming! It normally occurs 14 days before AF visits again. FF thinks I am to ovulate tomorrow so will start BD like crazy! I'd say you do the same, as well as using the OPK's.. Have you been recording the opk results on FF as well?

Well if you have a hotmail address then you could have messenger too - just need to sign up!

Well I have been down the coast today at my sisters new house , she moved in on Friday so its been great to hang out and LUke just loved going to the beach.
Back to work tommorow .. back to the grind
I have noticed my CM has changed today so thinking I am either ovulating or very close to it.... must get things happening in the BD department tonight !

I'm just going to see if a fall this month and if i do i can forget about temping but if not then i will be more organised and get i set time and buy a BBT cos at the moment i am using a digital therm... so will wait and see. I know this is TMI but do you check your CM throughout the day i have just got to lesson 6 through FF and it says your CM can change throughout the day. I know TMI bigtime but i'm confused because it was watery this morning but after reading the lesson i checked it again and it was fairly dry which in the lesson says that you can expect to see dry days both before Oing so does that mean i am??? :help: i will do a OPK tonight have been doing them at 8ish so says to keep doing it that way plus i am not drinking anything cos it says it can affect it.:doh: this is driving me nuts!!!!! well good luck BD tonight i will be too just incase...
Forgot to add i think i will become a platinum too.... Also Ngala i can't add that i'm OPK to my chart unless i join and pay a fee and well not sure if i'm going to go so deep into the temping thing! I think i might wait and see this month and if i feel confident with the whole temping thing i will join.. Did you join??

Yeah i have noticed that CM can change thru the day but to be honest all i know is to look out for the EWCM that i have seen others talking about on here.. i guess if i dont get pregnant in the next 2-3 months i will look into FF etc but as this is the first month for me im really not that worried about it yet. ( i say that now but probably when AF arrives i will be dissapointed)
Anyway we will see what happens.

Janeo - I check CM several times during the day too! FF send to record your most fertile CM.. so if you had watery this morning, but are dry now - then record watery and according to FF it means you are fertile! I think it also said somewhere that you might not get much CM while you are fertile compared to when you are not fertile. So I'd say that is what is happening with you. Its the same with me.. this might be TMI but I actually had more CM while I was on the pill than I do now! I want to read back on the FF lessons, particularly the CM lesson, but they are sent to my work email so gotta wait til tomorrow! If I were you, I'd be BD every night or every 2nd night, which ever you choose for the next week!

I know what you mean Jane73 i didn't want to be like this when we decided to try it was a lets see what happens but when it didn't happen i was like whats wrong with me it's playing on my mind. I have been a lot better since finding this BB and FF as i now am getting some great support and also heaps more info on how your cycle works which in some ways makes me feel more in control.

Ngala- I make down watery but it is still saying that it is unlikly that i ovulated but i reakon it's because of the different times i took my temp and that has affected it.. Will do OPK and see!!! And thanks girls!!!

Janeo - just keep temping and recording any changes that you see. I think FF is saying that you havent ovulated because you are only on cycle day 10, FF is saying the same to me as well! If you look on the calender (not chart) and find the orange egg - thats when FF predicts ovulation. Mine is on Wednesday at the moment, but it is saying that today, tomorrow, sunday are my most fertile days. My cycle is 25 days, yours is 35 so you might still be a little off?? What does your calender tell you?

And I am sure that noting is wrong with you! Its just taking a little longer than most people.

I'm finding charting very interesting because I have learnt so much about myself that they never taught at school!

Yeah i feel the same way it's really interesting and i rush to get my next lesson it's really interesting and i'm learning heaps. I am trying to hook up to messenger but can't work it out sometimes the internet and computers confuse me it's the blonde coming out in me HA HA well actually i have black hair but have very blonde moments as DP likes to point out.. Oh well... Have fun BD! My Dp not due home till late so will have to wait up just incase..
