Has anyone ever have cold/flu symptoms as very early sign of pregnancy?

Hi,

I generally feel as though I am coming down with something: am very achy in my upper body and have a bad headache similar to what I would experience when a head-cold is coming on.

DH and I had a really good shot at TTC this month and all my test results were very positive... I am feeling hopeful

Of course, I am probably reading into it and am just getting sick!!

I did though not the achey heaache sort of thing, just the runny nose, sore throat kind of thing. Every time I was pg!

Nasty cold at about 7-8dpo with every pg! This is number three...

with all 6 of mine this was one of the first signs.

ooooh thanks everyone! Sounds promising I didn't realise it was quite common as an early pg symptom.
I am probably only 5 DPO, so will see how I go. Fell asleep on the couch and have woken up feeling even worse.

When I had my IVF transfer I already had a cold and cough and was going to pull out of the transfer but my doctor convinced me to go ahead. I'm glad I didn't pull out of the transfer!! So I cold and cough is definitely not a negative sign.

I think it's a virus rather than any faux cold/flu symptoms. I have had a temp on and off for two days and horrible aches and pains and fatigue... my temp went from 36.7 the day before sickness to 38.5 the next day. Will be using HCG next month if I don't get a BFP in 10 days time!!
