Don't think about the "what ifs" they will send you completely loopy! I remember when i was 8wks and everytime i looked at any posts to do with losses i would get some spotting or cramps, obviously my bub is alright.....it was just me stressing. Sometimes when it takes us so long to conceive we feel it is to good to be true!
honey, just wanted to say dont get too hung up on the numbers, ok...
my hcg was always at the low end of the scale. And when i had a series of 4 test 48 hrs apart each time, NONE of them doubled (as many different sources of information may suggest that they should.) But they did just plod along slowly rising....
My progesterone was also considered low. But none of that matttered in the long run. We are ticking along nicely and counting the days til our 18 week scan to see the little munchkin again.
Dont stress about numbers, just relax and enjoy your pregnancy . So long as the numbers rise nicely and the way they should be everything should be fine.
CF - i had my BT at what we thought was 15DPO - HCG came back at 26. implantation can occur anywhere from 6-12DPO, so if you have implanted late, it's normal that you'd have a low HCG to start. and if you're "guesstimating" O date, that makes it even more "normal"
FWIW, my levels went from 26 to 270 5 days later and then up to approx 3000 a week later, so doubling every 36hours -ish.
the start number isn't the important bit, it's the pattern of it climbing that is more important
