I think you should wait longer then 3-4 months I would wait 6 months to a year. As per Francesca Naish's guidelines on vaccinations and ttc. If you get a copy of "The Natural Way to Better Babies" by Francesca Naish & Janette Roberts more infomation is avialble in that. The Natural Way to Better Babies by Francesca Naish & Janette Roberts - BellyBelly Pty Ltd

I don't get why a Dr would encourage a Hep B vaccine when it didn't create antibodies last time and if you are TTC you are obviously in a committed relationship at minimum risk of sexually transmitted disease. And I can assume you aren't a user of IV drugs. MMM very weird. I don't think I even got my Hep B status checked in either of my pregnancies.

If you can't wait the extended time to let the egg renew try and assist the detox with herbs or diet. I would be hesitant to continue with nay more vaccine personally unless you are in a 'real' risk category.

I've been married 2 years and with my husband 10 so there is def. no risk there.

I'm looking for the book now since BB has it on backorder but it looks like I won't continue with the vaccine. It seems so pointless to be taking vit+mult supps daily for the past 6 months only to introduce a non-essential vaccine into my body which needs another 6 months......

if anyone else has any advice that would be great.

You could try your local library for a copy. Mine have all Francesca's books.

Whilst your questioning the heb B vaccine for you it might be worth looking into whether you believe your child should receive it as well. As it is the first on the schedule and the way a child can catch it are exactly the same as an adult. It is the most pointless vaccine ever created in my opinion.

Do keep in mind that Francesca's avoiding periods for TTC are a bit stretched and better safe then sorry. I am a firm believer in Preconception care though, so love how detailed she makes everything.

    Thanks for the advice.

I just found the book at a not so local library so I will be passing by tomorrow morning. It is def something I wasn't giving too much thought as the dr. recommended it.
