I'm hoping someone can help me with this...I'm CD15, expecting to ovulate any day...and I have barely had any CM at all
I'm just wondering if this could perhaps be linked to me starting to take Elevit 4 weeks ago? (previously I had been taking just folate on its own) I have always had some sort of CM around time of ovulation. Has anyone else experience side-effects from Elevit?
Or, I guess...we've had a pretty rough month and I'm pretty stressed at the mo, also had a virus a couple of weeks ago, maybe that could affect it too?
I find that sometimes I get lots of egg white CM and other months pretty much nothing. Maybe it's just that some months we produce more than others. Not very scientific i know, just a suggestion.
You mentioned that you have been sick.. Did you happen to take any cold and flu tablets or antihistimene (sp?) I have heard that something in those kinds of medications can hinder the production of CM. I dont know how true this is but i have read it on a couple of websites..
Try not to stress about it too much. When i was on the BCP i always got heaps of EWCM around the time i should have ovulated. Yet as soon as i came off the pill i got none. Quite liteerally none for the whole 7 months before i got UTD. I just BD around the time that i thought i should o, but interstingly the last month (when i got pregnant) i used preseed and thats when it finally happened. I dont know if it had anything to do with it - but it was the only thing that we did differently!
Good luck huni - i hope that you get your BFP soon!!!!!!!
I'm in the same boat as Elyse - i use to get heaps while on the pill and i got loads just before my first period off the pill but since then its seems to be MIA! I check my CM internally which has helped a lot but I've only had EWCM once and I've since worked out that was just after suspected ovulation. This month I had definite watery CM and we used Pre Seed around O so hopefully that has helped us to achieve our BFP.
I'd strongly suggest getting Pre Seed and giving it a go. I bought mine online through Lullaby Conceptions
