Hi Maggiemoo,

There is a lot of different information out there and lots of different things work for different people depending on circumstances.

I suppose really to start with the main things would be finding out when you are ovulating, so tracking your cycle to do this so you know the best time to try for a baby.
There are a few ways to track ovulation the first is taking your basal body temp upon waking in the morning at the same time each day.
second you can purchase OPK (ovulation predictor kits) which have similar sticks to pg tests and measure when you have had an LH surge and you should ovulate within the next 24 - 48 hours from that surge.
Third is the most gross but taking note of the changes in your cervical mucus around ovulation you should get egg white cervical mucus this is the best mucus for sperm to swim through.

Apart from that I guess the general things like eating healthy taking care of yourself taking a preg vitamin or at least folic acid.
Some people choose to take natural remedies from a naturopath etc.

I think the most important really though would be to pin point when you are ovulating and just have fun trying and then if it doesn't happen in a certain amount of time go and talk to your dr to look at why.

But I really hope you get a BFP straight away.
