Help am I pregnant???

Ok so I went off the mini pill 8 weeks ago.

I have not had a period and have had some similar symptoms to my last pregnancy. I have done a home preg test and got a negative but have to wait till tomorrow to go get a blood test as my doctor has advised me not to listen to the home preg tests...

The reason I am pretty suss is that the way I found out about my pregnancy last time was using a friends maybe baby. I got ferns when I shouldn't have and so went out and got a test. Now we were at her place yesterday and I did the test and I got ferns again, and considering that I haven't had my period since going off the pill, I didn't think I should have been getting any ferns at all????

Any advice?

Funny thing is though, we were wanting to chart to try for a girl in 6 months, but thinking I might be preg has made me realise I wouldn't mind terribly if I was... has anyone else had this happen???
