Need some questions answered, hoping you can all help.
I woke up today to the most severe dizzy/nausea spell in the history of humanity which I never ever get. Not trying to conceive and am on the pill, however have that inkling feeling and not so sure if this is just a case of too much hot chips last night!
Ok is it even possible to be feeling symptoms if:
you DTD only once (withdrew) about 2 or 3 days after af ended (having DTD only 3 days ago?)
Last af I was on the sugar ones and needed a new pack - I am freaking out because I think I screwed up somewhere - I missed taking one of the tablets when my period started as it started 3 days earlier than the pack so there was one hormone one at the start that I skipped because af was starting anyway. AF started on Friday 31st July and must have finished up around the Wed or Thu. I got a new pack and started using it on the 5th August.
Should I stop taking the pill just in case? If I am pg has taking the pill these last few days harmed the embryo?
I think taking the pill is not a bad thing in the first few weeks (not saying you are pregnant) but plenty of people get pregnant without knowing it on the pill and dont find out until about 6wks or later and there is minimal risk of fetal damage.
I think it is a long shot that you would be pregnant seeming you are only 10days into your cycle. Depending on how long your cycle is ovulation normally happens on day 14, however that means you need to be very careful from day 10 through to about day 20.
I dont know all about it but I am sure there are others that will help as well. I woould just abstain until you are back on track with your pill and your cycle just to be sure.
There are other reasons to have a spell like that (vertigo) - most common is having some fluid in the inner ear. It sounds more likely to be vertigo than pregnancy considering where you are in your cycle.
When I thought a few months ago I was naturally pregnant, my fertility specialist said it is absolutly fine to have taken the pill, or be taking the pill until your pregnancy is confirmed.
