    Thanks for d response Maruschke!
I'm just wondering why they'd be so quick to send me to take photos of my brain (lol!) I don't have the blurry vision, headaches or irregular cycles. (I guess you can tell I don't like tests)
Hope your pg's going along smoothly...

When I was TTCing my first I wondered if I had high prolactin levels which might prevent me from falling pregnant. For many years before TTCing (actually as long as I can remember) I have always produced a small amount of milk and colostrum. Especially during showering I was able to squeeze my breasts and get drops of milk and colostrum. I read that this can sometimes be a sign of high prolactin levels. It turned out not to be a problem for me though.

    hi zig,

as Maruschke said i also have high prolactin, have had for many years, without medication my levels sit around 1100 (according to my pathology place 80-500 is normal), levels that high stop me ovulating. i think with pcos its normal to have levels on the higher side.

i have had a pituitary tumour found on mri but at that time i was pregnant and my levels were 2400, i also have no symptoms when it is high or low (except when i had the tumour then i had headaches constantly).

try not to stress, if they really want to scan you can you ask for a CT first because it is cheaper and much less stressful for you to have done. its easily controlled with medication once a fortnight for me
