How likely would it be that I would fall pg?

I have no idea about charting or anything, so I'm pretty clueless of when I might get pg. At the mo, DH and I are just using condoms as protection. He says he's going to get the snip and I refuse to go back on the pill or any hormone contraception for my own reasons. Besides it's his turn to sacrifice a little! While we are not ttc and DH doesn't really want another bub, we're not going to be devistated if I do fall pg again, Actually I definately would not mind in the slightest! (Although I have none of my baby stuff anymore!)
Anyhow....we DTD twice this cycle without protection. I had AF on the 1st til the 6th. We DTD unprotected on the 8th and 21st. My past cycles have been Oct-24days, Sept-28days, Aug-29days.
So I know it's definately possible that I could fall pg, but how likely do you (people who know about charts and cycles and all of that) think it could be??
    TIA

    Hi ya lovely!!!
I was in this position and find myself pregnant so I would say highly likely, its always when you are'nt trying this time around i thought I was past O so must have had a very long cycle which is unusal for me but I guess age played a part in that??? If you had a 24 day cycle you woul dhave DTD 2 days before O, so very likely, but if it was longer (your cycle) chances are getting a lot slimmer. DTD on the 21st unless you had a very long cycle you would have been past O so your chance would really be with the early DTD.
Good luck I hope you get your wish, that would definately spur DH on to get the job done.

    Hi,
I did calculations based on the first day of your LMP - 01.11.09 and used 29 days as your cycle length. Statistically speaking your fertile period would be Friday, 13 Nov, 2009
    - Wednesday, 18 Nov, 2009. That is not to be taken as 100% as you could have O'd early or late. Do you feel O pains?
HTH, looks like you're in the TWW

    Thanks ladies!

So how long would sperm survive in me for?? Up to, what 5ish days??? Really that long! Wow!!

Charliebrowngirl, I do feel O sometimes. I think I did this month, cause I remember complaining to my mum about having mid cycle period-ish pains. But I can't remember when that was exactly!

I'm kinda hoping I am pg now.....but I shouldn't get my hopes up the chances are slim and DH doesn't really want another...

Fertility Friend is pretty good with giving answers you are looking for. Super sperm can live up to 4-5days.

A similar moment to what you're experiencing now resulted in me joining the TTC band wagon. Haven't experienced the joys of motherhood, but it made me realise how much I wanted to experience it.

Its hard when each others (DW & DH) wants/needs don't match up, I would love to have 3 children... only time will tell - have to have one first

    All the best

Natural planning books will tell you 3-5 days but with big DD I only had sex once and at the end of AF and got preg, so that was close to 7-8 days out, I did'nt thinkit was possible but my OB said he has heard of stories 10 days out!!!!congrats to that super duper spermulator.
