    How many months second time

Just wondering how many months it took you to fall pregnant the second time relative to your first?
This is our second month trying and it took five to fall pregnant with Hendrix.....

We also fell pg first try with dd and r TTC #2 this month...so far not looking good. Think i'm not ovulating this month - perhaps due to still breastfeeding. Wishing u and Renee all the best

Heather, we are still trying after 9 months. Thought it would be easy as we conceived Amy on the first attempt but no. Haven't charted since Amy was born so it may have something to do with it. Sorry, I didn't answer your question but good luck.

Hi Heather, i feel first month with DD. And with DS i went of the mini pill in Jan 05, fell pg in March but m/c, then fell again in April.
Its handy to know when you ovulate, thats all i went by with DS.
I had no idea with DD, we just decided to let nature takes it course.

I actually found ttc with #2 a lot more stressful as we new what we were in for so wanted it to happen NOW. Cant complain though.
We are contemplating ttc #3. Im still b/fng DS and im not about to stop to try so once again just letting nature take its course.

    Good luck though.

It took us 5 months for DS and still going for #2 (heading into our 7month).

I agree with FireFly, #2 is more stressful! I thought it would take less time cause I knew my body and what it was doing but I couldn't have been more wrong. I had to give up b/f to start O'ing and since then I have not had one regular cycle. Through charting I discovered early on I have LPD and this was confirmed by a specialist. I've been given a prescription to help with O but have been reluctant to try it yet, I'm still hoping my cycle might correct itself.

    Good luck to you all!

    Ooo good question, Heather.
It took us 12 months of TTC with Gabby so I am hoping it doesn't take as long this time. Fingers crossed!

Ohh thanks so much for your replies guys!

Deb - ive got my fingers crossed for too, are you TTC at the moment or putting it on hold??

aussie chick - i totally understand what your going through. My cycles are haywire. Last month 34 days with a LP of 10 days, this month???? who knows?

Gemma - good luck to you guys too. Ive everything crossed.

Kate - hope you are really well. Not long now!! OMG time flies.

Firefly - relaxed sounds good. Im sure you fall pregges quicker that way. My problem is that once i get my mind set on something i become obsessed.

iluvella - i hope the TTC journey is short and sweet for you this time as well.

renee - good luck to you too.

This has been interesting reading. It looks as though most (except the lucky ones Kate ) it is taking longer for.

We are TTC #2, I guess for a couple of months now, but really I've been off the minipill for 6 months, but not actually TTC.

I fell pg in the 1st month with Emma.

I fell pregnant on the first go with Elijah - I was charting that month on a whim I was ovulating (was breastfeeding with no periods yet bar a little spotting that month) so it just happened to be good timing.

    Hi!

With Louis I fell p/g 2nd cycle. With bubba 2 now cooking it took 0 months. I came off the minipill at the start of Jul but we weren't properly ttc as I had no idea where my cycle was at, we were just very lucky it happened so quickly.

I fell pregnant in the 1st month with Bella, we are going to start trying after Christmas but will just let nature take its course.

I guess from reading the above I should just expect it to take several months and then I won't be disappointed if it doesn't happen right away.

#1 - whilst on the pill (but had been sick) he was under "negotiation" anyway!

    #2 - 13 months - then 1st Ivf cycle worked

Best of luck when you decide to start TTC #2, hopefully it will be a short wait.
