    HPT Help?!

DH and I have been TTC for a few months now.

I have PCOS and irregular cycles so am not too sure what on earth is happening. This month I had all the signs of ovulation on CD10, according to FF I should have been due for AF yesterday, being CD30. AF isn't here yet, a few slight crampy feelings but that's it. I am a POAS addict and have pretty much tested twice a day for the past week. I have been using the cheap eBay ones and yesterday it looked like there was maybe a slight line if I squinted, stood on my head and then did a rain dance So today I went and bought my trusty old faves... First Response. Yesterday and today I have been feeling off, my boobs have been sore for the past week (I put it down to AF coming). So this morning I used First Response and there was the control line and a very slight pink line to the left. I have done 2 of those tests with the same thing happening both times.

I'm not sure though if it's a +ve or if a slight line can come up behind? If that makes any sense? I have tried taking a photo but my camera doesn't seem to be picking it up. I can definitely see it but I'm just not sure if it can get highlighted slightly without being pg? The line is there but barely there.

Am I making any sense at all?!

From one POAS addict to another!!! woohoo it sounds like a second line to me.... you said it's pink did it show up in the time frame??? It's a waiting game to wait for it to get darker, but the fmu is the best.... everything crossed for you!

Hello there my fellow POAS Sista

Yep, it showed up in the time frame. My last 2 pregnancies have both had really strong lines come up on them, which is why it has left me wondering as it's so so so faint.
I might head back up to the supermarket and get some different tests

Edit- Chody, I always say a line is a line too but when it's you, you don't believe it DH thinks I'm a nutter

Sounds like it's yay all round!!!! FMU is the first urine of the day best results. I have never used a digital one but apparently they are the bees knees in HPT maybe get one of them.... or you could just smile and celebrate and stop POAS!

    LBF. You've made me laugh!

I can't celebrate until I'm completely sure and have most likely cleared out the supermarket shelves of POAS! I'm still way too cautious atm. Will go up when DD wakes up from her nap and update later on. Looks like I'm off to the Dr Monday!

Do a digi!!! Clear blue THEY ARE THE BEEZ KNEEZ!! lol

I read somewhere they only pick up from a level of 50(ml or whatever hcg levels are counted in) but I had a positive 1-2 and my beta the next day was 19- plz explain.

Good luck. Clear blue takes the guesswork out. I got a very clear bfp on a FR on Easter day and it was a falsie so when I got one this time I wouldn't believe it till I got that PREGNANT flash up.

I personally think First response is the best and it does sound like a second line Congrats maybe get another pack of first response and see if the line is getting a bit darker over the next few days. The digi's are good but as someone above said they are not as sensative as a FR test. I had a faint BFP on a FR and it still said not pregnant on a Digi even though I was.

I can just see a line if I tilt my screen back..... HERE is the flickr link.
I won't be offended if you say you can't see it at all, I keep analysing so thought I may as well put it up

Looks like the first positive fr test I did with my last pregnancy. If you go to my photo album you should be able to see it. Tentative congratulations!

I can see it! With this pregnancy my first tests showed up like that. dh wouldn't believe it and I thought I was going crazy. I ended up buying one of the digital clearblue tests- they come up with "pregnant" or "not pregnant" so no ambiguity. My last pregnancy was strong lines also but this one didn't get strong until AF was 4 days overdue. I'll bite the bullet and say congrats!!
