Hi,

I did join awhile ago but thought everything would be fine after having ovarian drilling and a uterine polyp removed the end of January this year. Unfortunately I have not had much luck with my gyno, telling me it will just take time. I have recently gone back to my doctor because I have been having spotting for a few weeks now, off and on with no period. I am late, and she is running a blood pregnancy test just in case I am (I highly doubt it though). She said if it is negative, then I will have to go back to the gyno since it is probably a hormone imbalance of some kind. I am really not happy with my gyno, and I am starting to get worried if the ovarian drilling is related to the issues I am currently having. My period never became regular after ovarian drilling, I was told to take Elevit every day (which I have done without fail since Oct last year). I have been diagnosed with PCOS.

I am just really overwhelmed and stressed right now. My doctor said to go back to the old gyno, and once he has fixed that then we can go to a fertility specialist. I am worried this gyno may impair my chances of fertility since this is not the first operation I have had to remove uterine polyps and we have not had any success, if anything I have more uterine bleeding problems now than when I did before I had the ovarian drilling.

Does anyone have any advice on a good gyno, in Melbourne or outer east of Melbourne, that also deals with infertility issues. I feel that if I see a gyno /ob who specialises in infertility then he/she would be more sensitive to my needs and may be more thorough with my current uterine issue. I do have private health insurance. I havent been around because I thought I could fix it on my own, unfortunately I have failed in that department and I need some advice on how to tackle this.

Thanks
