HAd two of my girls in Sept. By Xmas they are out of that newborn stage, not so fragile LOL. NIght feeds are great, as the nights are a bit warmer. I dunno, i just felt it was exciting having a baby, then having xmas to think about....
Hi,We have had 2 summer bubs,1 autum bub,and 2 winter bubs,I realy loved the summer months, but a spring bub would be good too,I hate the night feeds in the cold winter months, but yes it`s realy nice to have a cuddle.
My DS is September and my DD will be October. Love the winter pregnancy - especially since I suffer varicose veins. OB actually told me that because of that winter pregnancies are best for me because the veins would be worse in summer (but it just happened like that, we didn't engineer it!) Also love that it isn't freezing cold to get up for night feeds.
Downside - apparently September a very busy month in maternity hospitals so you have to book in early!
The other thing that I think about (and I know this is nerdy) is that I don't want my kids being the youngest in their year at school so I'm pleased that so far my babies are born in the second half of the year. I was one of the youngest in my class and I hated it.
We have always planned to have a September baby but fate has taken us on different paths and we have had a November baby (not bad either) and a December baby (a bit too close to Christmas but we thank the lord for her anyway).
