    Implantation???

Does anyone know of anything which can assist in implantation?

I started TTC this month and AF was 7 days late which NEVER happens and the doctor said (according to my temperatures) it looks like fertilisation and implantation may have taken place but the eggy never stayed implanted!

I have bought some preseed to help with sperm longevity but would like some advice on implantation please!!

    Any advice is welcome!

    Hi there,

I can imagine how frustrating this is but I think that there isn't much you can do apart from ensuring that you have a decent luteal phase (at least 10 days). There are many instances where conception occurs but the egg does not implant and it may not be a reflection of something that needs fixing if that makes sense.

If you only started TTCing this month, it may be too early to draw any conclusions from what just happened and you don't want to worry yourself unnecessarily. So, I guess that is the best thought I can come up with at the moment. I hope you have better luck soon.

    Kind regards,

    Mel

    implantation bleeding maybe?

Hi, i'm a newbie here and just wanted to say that this forum has been a great source of info for me!

i have a question if anyone could help me i would really appreciate it!

i'm on my 2nd cycle ttc#1. i'm not sure when i ovulated (i thought i would give it a couple of months trying before i start charting etc), we BD almost every second day, some days 2 days in a row, for the whole cycle so far.

i have a 40 day cycle, sometimes 39 days, ever since i came off the pill 6 months ago. AF is due on wednesday or thursday (today is saturday). Last night there was some pinkish blood in CM when i wiped, and this morning there was some blood and more pinkish CM, but not much like the beginning of AF. AF isn't due for another 5-6 days.

I haven't had many preg symptoms except a very very mild AF-type cramping for 1.5 weeks on and off, and sore boobs only when you press them. on the otherhand, i haven't started to have any of my usual AF symptoms which are mainly moodiness and face breaking out.

Can anyone help me figure out what the pinkish blood in CM is? Also, should I wait till AF is due to test?

    Thanks!!!!

If you have a cycle of 39-40 days, you should still ovulate 14 days before that in theory. Can you count back and remember if you DTD on that date roughly? It might give you an indicator of if you are pg or not. Usually symptoms don't start appearing until after implantation, but I have noticed that I do feel different to when AF is coming kwim? So not pg symptoms as such but just feeling different.

Also don't be worried by the lack of symptoms cause not everyone will get strong signs of m/s etc. It is possible that you have had an implantation bleed if your AF is not due for a few days.

Good luck and let us know how you go.

I got a faint BFP yesterday at i think 10DPO, but was spotting all day yesterday. today i woke up and there was blood, like light AF bleeding, I tested again and got a BFN...

what happened??? i'm so confused and upset, but I guess I'm out for this month....

if it is AF bleeding, it came 4 days early...unusual!

Silver, when you tested today, did you use first morning urine and was it the same brand of test? at the early stage of pg, some tests jsut can't pick up enough HcG to register a +ve result. So it is possible that has happened to you. Or the other possibility is that you have had a chemical pg where you get a BFP but then go on to have a normal AF, kwim?

I hope that you have just tested too early to get a definate result

I agree with Sherie, were both your tests the same brand and did you test at the same time?
I know this time round i got a little spotting before i tested, but b/c i 'felt' different i had in my head it was implantation bleed, which yes it happened to be, if you test to early you are not always guareenteed to get the right response.
Im hoping its implantation bleed for you. Test again in a couple of days if Af hasnt reared her ugly head.
Like Sherie said it could also be a chemical pg, but heres to hoping its implantation and you announce your bfp real soon

thanks everyone for the replies and well wishes,

i used the same brand and first morning urine, but now i'm pretty sure it's AF arriving early - i've got the AF cramps and the flow is heavier now...must have been a chemical..

even though i had tried to not get my hopes up, it's still so upsetting seeing AF arrive

    Implantation Bleeding

Just wondering If anyone has experienced this? I am due for AF 2morro or monday at the latest. 2day when I was went to the toilet there was a smear of brown on the paper but havent had anything since. I have also had mild cramps in the lower left side and lower back. I usually dont get cramps like this until day one of AF. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated!!

Well I would do a test my love. In ivf we have a little rush of excitement at reports such as this - it very often does indicate an implantation "bleed". Of course it ould also be the onset of your period but I would certainly test...

With two of my 11 pregnancies I have had what you describe...

I had one with this (IVF) pregnancy. It was literally about half a day of light spotting... I think I probably wouldn't have even noticed it if it weren't for the fact that we'd had an embryo put back in a few days earlier and I was looking for things to be different.

I'll be keeping my figners crossed for you, Kim.

Though I'm not entirely sure when I conceived, the BT said between 5-9 weeks (2 weeks ago) but had only been off BC for 7 weeks. I had 3 day bleed (1st and 3rd day spotting, 2nd day red blood) 3 weeks after stopping BC which could coincide with 1 week post ovulation, therefore could have been implantation bleed or some sort of break thought bleeding. Does that make sense?
