    mwah! thanks manhattan!

i am quite upset that not only did AF show (grrrr, but part of the TTC game) but that it came 3 days early! does this happen often? is this normal? at this rate with a LP of like what 8 days (DPO8 i started spotting) it is highly unlikely to happen....or is it a once off....arrghhhhh! so confusing. this is my shortest cycle by far.

A short LP is a concern, but i'm not sure if it happens often, or if its normal. Was there anything different this cycle ie- stressed out, upset, sick??? All of that can affect your cycle. See how this cycle goes, and if its short again, perhaps you could see a natropath to help lengthen your LP. Hth a bit, sorry I cant offer any more than that.

oh no honey! what a total bummer... next time....oh well if Af is here sooner, she is gone sooner and you begin another cycle

Oh what a bummer, like PAP says though the quicker she is here the quicker she is gone and you can try again.

Your LP on this chart is 10 days not 8 so stop stressing. It is counted from full flow not from spotting. Anything 10 days or over is considered normal. I often only had an 11 day LP but I still concieved.

On the two pregnancy cycles that I was charting I had implantation dips. They were very pronounced - they went almost down to coverline - so were very obvious, not slight dips like your dip. Might be best to keep that in mind if you see such a dip again & therefore not get too excited (I know only too well how upsetting it is when AF comes along after you've started to think you might be pregnant).

I also noticed that your post O temps were similar to the previous cycle. In my experience you normally get higher temps in pregnancy cycles than in non pregnant ones, so try not to get excited until you see the temp go above what you've previously had on the chart.

Best of luck for next month.
