My partner and I have 2 beautiful kids. We arent ttc just using condoms - I have got the pill but am waiting for cd1 to start. Last week (smack bang in my fertile period) we had our first child free night in ages... anyway a few drinks later and we had dtd.. unprotected... me in my tipsy state took 2 of my bc pills (I dont know what I was thinking!) Fast forward 5 days and I have twingey cramping and slightest brown discharge - im only day 17/25 and never spot or cramp this early - unless pg. Any opinions? Cant believe how silly I was and am driving myself crazy overthinking things!!!
Sorry you find yourself in this stressful situation! There's really no way of knowing until you can do an HPT. 18/25 is really early still, even if you ovulated on CD 12 or 13 (which is very early but if you have a 25 day cycle I guess it's possible) then you'd only be 5 or 6DPO, you won't get an accurate result until more like 10 or 12DPO. You could test, but it might give you a false negative.
I doubt that the bc pills would have been effective in preventing pregnancy so you will just have to wait and test if your late.
I hope you get the result your after.
oh that would also really be on my mind as well. I have always had implantation bleeds with my pg so can understand what you are feeling with finding the discharge.
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to find out earlier other than to wait to POAS.
Thanks for your replies, ive always had implanation spotting with pg just thought it may have been because of the pill. Will wait til the weekend to test and will see what happens I guess!
3 negative hpts within the last 3 days! And no AF as of yet (but mild cramping a few days ago- which is gone now!) This is probably way TMI but dp and I dtd early yesterday morning and I had some bright spotting after... i assumed it was the start of AF but have had absolutely nothing since! Its so weird for me i usually have pretty regular cycles and symptoms! I cant help but wonder if I've just stuffed my body around with taking them 2 bc pills!
Af arrived yesterday!! I must admit part of me was hoping for a #3 bub though! We really arent in an ideal position to be expanding our little family so all good. I had resigned myself to 'whatever will be' and I guess this is what will be thanks for your replies and support ladies x
