Is a laptop bad for unborn babies or TTC?

I know that electric blankets are bad for unborn babies, the electric field and all, but what about laptops? Does anyone know?

are you using wireless? this might not be so good...... we canned all the wireless in our house when we found out we were preg.........

Its not wireless. But what I should do is put it on the coffee table and not over my belly. I will google that later, thanks heaps. I guess this time TTC, I'm more worried about things.

We have wireless network, phones etc and used all threw pregnancy, and had mobile in pocket to, and bub seems perfectly fine to me. I had laptop on tummy majoirty of the time and still do.

Thanks everyone! I can breathe a sigh of relief that I'm not going to hurt the baby. I didn't have a laptop with DD.

Thanks Bec!!! Oh I'm really glad that laptops are fine. Why am I so paranoid this time around? I think its because I am trying this time and really want it to happen, whereas DD was a welcome surprise (and I was working- kept my mind busy).
