Late but no BFP

I am 2 days late now (which never happens) but am still not getting a positive result on HPT (have done 2 tests). Is this normal or should I give up and assume AF is on its way and is just late?

Hi 1timemum,
You may have ovulated later this cycle. I have heard of women who are normally as regular as clock work and then just get a late ovulation one cycle out of the blue.
I have also heard that some women when they are pregnant that it never shows up on a HPT. Maybe you should get a BT done in a few days?
