So, I was on a 2 week wait, supposed to end around Wednesday coming up. Those in the 2WW thread know that I bled a bit on Saturday, so understandably I figured that that was the end of my 2WW.
For the last 3 days I've felt slightly nauseous, with brief periods of dizziness - and have had the runs TMI I know. But DH hasn't had any problem, and for the last week we've both eaten the same things.
Could I possibly have misinterpreted the bleed? Please don't tell me to just test and find out - I can't take a BFN at the moment. If you think its not, please be honest!!

Yeah, I was thinking that too I guess I just want one of you wise mothers to say 'Yep, thats EXACTLY what happened to me, and your DEFINITELY pregnant!'......too much to ask?
Heya - I had some spotting at 5 weeks. You can have what's called an implantation bleed which is what happens when the fertilised egg burrows into the lining of your uterus and starts to grow into a little bubba! A bit like planting a seed in soil. This usually happens 4-12 days after conception (ie egg fertilisation). That implantation can cause a small bleed (usually spotting) and yep, it's possible that you didn't get a BFP because it's this implantation that really causes the hormone hormone that indicates pregnancy on a home pregnancy test and your hormone (damn but I can't remember what it's called - you know, the one that generates when you fall pregnant!! Talk about baby brain!!! Sorry) level isn't high enough to register on a test. I know the Digital ones usually require a level of 50. To be honest, I was getting incredibly faint pregnancy tests even at 4.5 weeks pregnant and some that were pretty obviously a negative plus one digital one said pregnant and one said not pregnant, so it depends on how fast your body produces the hormone and then how fast it mulitplies. Not to mention how sensative your tests are!! It's a real science!!
So in short, yep it's definitely possible. Wait a few days, see if you have a bleed and then bite the bullet and test again. Have a look online and read the reviews on the tests and see if you can order some online of the most sensitive tests (again, I'm really sorry but I can't remember the name of them - there's one that measures as low as 5 and you get them online from a site recommended by belly belly, but alas my baby brain has kicked in and I just can't bloody remember the name of it!). When they arrive, do the test - that'll give you a few days to get up the courage.
If it's negative again and while I don't wish to recommend medication and would definitely advise you to do your research etc before taking anything, I conceived my DS after two years TTC, cycle issues and undergoing testing for polycystic ovaries etc after just 6 weeks on Vitex. It's completely natural and you can get it from the chemist in the natural health section. It's not much and at the very least it will regulate your ovulation and af etc. I don't know if others have tried it on here, but it worked for me and might be worth some research? Maybe ask your GP or pharmacist?
Good luck!! And I can honestly say that yep that happened to me and the baby in the nursery currently sleeping would indicate that yep I was definitely pregnant lmao
Ooh fingers crossed SG! Nup... don't test until AF is actually late (says me who is finding testing too hard to resist at the moment). I shouldn't really test until Tues or Wednesday... I will keep you in mind and hopefully we will be testing at the same time
I really hope it was implantation and you're feeling off because of all that new hormone It's hard not to get hopes up too high isn't it...
