I'm a bit confused with what is going on with my body.
I got AF on the 7th of this month which lasted about 5 days.
I started testing for ovulation on the 15th (so on cycle day 9) as my last cycles post miscarriage have been a bit short, I didn't want to miss ovulation.
Yesterday (so the 18th) I got the darkest line on the OPK yet but it still wasn't as dark as the control line.
Today I've done two OPKs & they are lighter than yesterdays.
Tonight I've found blood in my undies - I'm on cycle day 13.
I don't know what is going on! Is this ovulation bleeding, and if it is how come it tested negaetive on the OPK? Could I have a 12 day cycle?
I am only speaking from my experience and from what I have read.
Firstly, OPK's DID NOT work for me - the line was never darker than the control line, however I have annovulatory cycles (no ovulation), so that could have been why. This may not be the case for you but I would keep using the OPK's until AF shows for sure.
Bleeding mid-cycle could be a few things 1. Could be implantation bleeding or 2. A high fertile time in your cycle. Blood tinged CM is highly fertile.
I don't know why the OPK's aren't working for you - are you testing about the same time each day (preferably around 2pm is the best time)? Are you making sure you are not drinking heaps of water etc.... just prior to using the OPK?
Sorry I don't have anything else to contribute but hopefully someone with more OPK experience can help.
RCC - thanks for replying. I haven't had the greatest success with OPKs in the past. I was only testing once a day before yesterday so there is every chance I simply missed it! Am going to keep testing for now, thanks.

I think it was ovulation bleeding as I haven't had anymore since. It was more blood tinged mucus than actual blood. Never had it before
