Thanks JellyBean! I can also advocate for these methods. Although i'm hopeless with diet stuff - i love my food too much! BUT when i was TTC #2 i had done 5 cycles of clomid and ovulated each time, but no BFP. After that i went to talk to a friend who is a naturopath and she put me on a few supplements and told me to try to avoid some carbs and sugars. And BINGO, that month i conceived my Zaccy boy
This time around when we decided to start TTC#3 i went straight to her and i'm now taking bio-ace excell, magnesium, calcium, bio-ace and bio C, along with my provera to start a cycle and i'll be using clomid to ovulate (i have PCOS). My first cycle hasn't started yet, but hopefully these things will give us a better success rate.
I was always a bit cynical i have to say of all these supplements. My theory has always been to eat healthy and you wouldn't need stuff like this. But i am healthy, have a healthy lifestyle and eat well and am a healthy weight (possibly a little under), and i do now believe that some of these supplements complimented the clomid and helped me concieve.
