Question Naturopathy and acupuncture in Melbourne

My husband and I have been TTC #1 since April and I am interested in seeking a natural therapist opinion before looking into assisted reproductive options (recommended as the next option as I'm 35 and have been trying for 8 months now).

I would love to hear success stories from those who have sought help from a naturopath and/or acupuncturist, particulary in Melbourne. There are so many clinics out there that any recommendations would be appreciated. At the moment I am looking at a clinic in Ashburton called Resonance - anyone had any experience (good or bad) with them?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
I recently had success with an acupuncturist in the inner north of Melbourne. I had been ttc for 9 months and got a BFP on the first cycle with this woman. I was really impressed with the treatment - and obviously the results!!

Plus I have seen her for the whole of my first trimester and it has been really lovely having the treatments and the extra support during the 'turbulent' first few months.

It is a great idea to get a referral from someone who has had personal experience and/or success as it is a big thing to put your faith in a practitioner, especially when you have been ttc for a while. If you don't find anyone closer to you and are interested in the Chinese Doctor I saw (well, she is actually a Greek/Aussie woman practicing Chinese Medicine!) please pm me and I'll give you the details.

Nicole Tracy is a brilliant naturopath. She often contributes on here and has a beautiful, understanding personality and has many contacts of therapists who work in other areas too, for fertility issues. Her website is Nurtured By Nature - Australia. From Canterbury takes about 20 mins to get there (in Park Orchards).

I haven't had acupuncture at that place in Ashburton but went there early in my pregnancy when I had a really bad flu to see the naturopath. She was really good, whatever it was she gave me started working straight away and I would go back there. I'd be interested if anyone has been there for prenatal acupuncture (mainly for preparing for labour) as well....

Thanks for your replies Jackrose, Kelly and Annabella.
I have made an appointment at Resonance for next week, so will let you know my thoughts after the first consult.
    Thanks for your input.
