so sorry to hear. Sorry to tell you but I have seen some women temp for years and not have a successful pregnancy. Temping only gives you an indication that you are ovulating and when, increasing the likelihood of you catching that egg. Have you and you partner had testing? After 2 years of trying it might actually be time to go see a fertility specialist for more help.

    Hi Mummame,

That's the thing we didnt know when i was ovulating until i charted. I thought i was ovulating day 14 as the drs have told me if you have a 28 day cycle you should ovulate around mid cycle, but i now know everyone is different as to when they ovulate.
In the 2 years it hasnt been every month trying - some months we have put if off and others we have tried but only trying on 'day 14'
Yes we got tested early on and his sperm is fine and i am fine apart from having cysts on my ovaries so apart from the cysts i am healthy.
If nothing happens in 6-8 months then we will then go see a fs and succeed that way
Last cycle we only bd'd once so this time we are going to up the chances and bd more.

yeah, that's the thing with a lot of GP's, they told me the same thing. I was told that if you have a 28 day cycle you have to ovulate on CD 14 because the luteal phase is always 14 days.... yep completely untrue.

Good luck with your TTC journey

well, trying to convince my hubby that we will survive if we go for number 3 so far he doesn't seem convinced. I still chart every month because I like knowing what my body is doing.

mummame - Well i hope you can convince your hubby to have another bub. I have my fingers crossed that your hubby agrees real soon.
Charting is certainly a good way to see whats happening with your body. I am happy i started, as i now know when i ovulate lol.

glenny_c - Congratulations on being pregnant with number 2!!

You think doctors would be more advanced these days. Ah well thanks to fertility friend alot of women have fallen pregnant and havent had to resort to extreme measures such as seeing fertility doctors as thats what im sure alot of women have done because of them thinking they ovulate on a certain time of their cycle and not falling pregnant within a certain amount of time. At least this is an oppurtunity to try the natural way first
