Hi, yes it can be all very confusing! Are you due to ovulate? Sometimes some women experience spotting during ovulation. Usually implantation spotting takes place a few days or up a week or so after ovulation so depending on when you ovulated last that 'could' be the cause of your spotting. If the spotting continues then i would suggest that you see your Doctor. I know for me personally i get quite sore/tingley boobs and pains in my lower abdomen/pelvis whilst ovulating.
