New to Charting, Help!

I just started temping this month, but have been off the pill since around November or December. I'm having trouble understanding my chart, because I had a pretty major dip on what I would consider 3 & 5 dpo
I don't know how to link my chart, so day 17 I noticed ewcm, on day 18 my temp dipped to 96.47, day 19 it rose to about average 96.86, day 20 to 97.23, I thought, wow, this charting thing really works, until the next morning I woke up to 96.54, day 22 was back up to 97.5, and now today it droped back down to 96.78...is this normal past ovulation, or should I be staying high every day? Thanks!

Are you temping at the same time every day without getting out of bed? Just checking as that's what you need to do to get accurate temps. When I charted my temp would raise the day after O then stay high until the day before AF was due. The only times I had dips I was pregnant and they happened about a week after O. My implantation dips were for two or 3 days and then my temp would go back to where it was after O then raise steadily each day.

unfortunately anything can be 'normal' lol If you are taking your temp at the same time every morning and before you get up then it's most likely accurate. Your temp can go up and down and still be normal. If you are using Fertility Friend for your charting then if you go to the left hand side menus - choose 'sharing' then 'Home Page Setup' it will take you to a page that has the link to your chart. just copy and paste. hth!

I do temp first thing without getting up or talking at the same time every day, there have been a couple times where I charted at 9 instead of 8, but neither of those were the "dip days" The first dip was a day that I had only gotten 5 hrs of sleep before temping, but last night was normal nights rest. Fertility friend tells me that my temps do fluctuate more than normal and if it keeps up to temp vaginally to get a more accurate reading, not sure I'm ready for that yet...I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow morning!

I hope I got the chart to attach now! My temp was up a little today, not by much 97.02. I am temping at the same time every morning, I did read something on fertility friend about being a mouth breather, that may have something to do with it. It said if strange temps keep up, even when taking it the same time every day to try taking it vaginally...not quite sure of that yet...I'm just praying this temp craziness doesn't mean I"m not ovulating :
