Newbie to Clomid

Hi,

Anyone got any advice about starting Clomid

im about to start my first tablet tonight.

i have been told to take it at night time to lessen the side effects,

fingers crossed it works real quick for both of us!

Can you tell me what sort of side effects you can get from Clomid?

I didn't know there was any...except multiple births when using this drug. I took a course of Clomid about 6 years ago and experienced no side effects but also, no pregnancy!

Hi Girls

Im an oldie taking Clomid, I have taken it for 4 cycles.

The side effects happen more frequently if you take a higher dosage.

Here are the symptoms/side effects I got taking 50mg of Clomid from day 2 to day 6.

* headache on and off - not bad just normal headache maybe from dehydration.
* dehydration
* fuzziness in head sometimes

Thats all..

I took my tablets in the morning with food as my IVF specialist said that was the best time.

I concieved first cycle however unfortunately m/c then took a break for 2 cycles to recover then on my 4th cycle of Clomid overall I conceived a Clomid baby this time!

Hey

Both my bubs are clomid bubs!(DD and pregnant with #2) I took mine in the morning also and the only side affects I had were bad hormones like pms, hot flushes, my face brokeout and the odd headache. Just make sure you eat something when you take the tablet.

Today will be the last tablet in my second cycle. I take my tablet at night (9pmish). The only side effect I have had is hot flushes usually at 3am. Have minor hot flushes during the day (but not so bad). This cycle is better than my first, but the weather is cooler now so perhaps hot flushes are easier to cope with when its not so hot.
