Hi Ladies
I'm hoping someone can recommend a good gyno on the Central Coast or in the Lake MacQuarie/Hunter region.
It's not for me - I'm w-a-a-ay past that. My 28 year old niece has been TTC now for almost 2 years and I'd like to give her the name of someone who knows 'what's what' when it comes to sub-fertility. I hopped onto the IVF train in 1995 so am out of touch with specialists who look after girls before they have to take that step.
Hope someone can help.

Hi Suzi Q yes definately Steve Raymond, there is also Andrew Hedges who is also great works with Steve at Hunter IVF but different locations.
Dr Woolcott also has a excellent reputation and Dr Shumack also works with him at Sydney IVF at Mereweather.
Dr Raymond is at New Lambton and Dr Hedges is on the grounds of Newcastle Private Hospital
Hope that helps Suzi
Dr Robert Woolcott, he also works for Sydney IVF, he is located at Merrewether, i went through him to get my tubal reversal, he is very good, thats if she needs to go the assistaed conception path.
Hi Chrissy just thought I would let you know Dr Woolcott actually works for Sydney IVF and I was told he has a very good success rate. I actually went through Dr Hedges and unfortunately the success rates were not good for me, but I know plenty of people who have been to Dr Hedges and Dr Raymond and they have had great success.
hi shaz,
yeh when i wrote that, i relised when i posted it, that he was sydney not hunter, you must of posted at around the same time.
i got my reversal in june 05, apparently the sucess rate was 85% in the first year, and only 5% after that, i had 2 early miscarriges after around 10 moths of trying after revesal, so i gave up on trying, and we decided not to go there as we couldnt bare having another m/c, then somehow i fell pregnant not even trying and taking precautions, so i am very lucky as it was 18months from my revesal, and i was in the 5% range.
Dr woolcott was great, he explaines everything you need to know.
